Hawk has stolen Earth's only remaining Omega Destroyer, the most advanced ship Earth has, abandoning Earth during a space battle. Commander Laurel Takashima

After the assassination attempt on Ambassador Kosh's life, Takashima was recalled to Earth, where, after much debreifing, was reassigned to border patrol on the Rim. Captain Hawk, filling his new ship with crew not loyal to President Clark, pushed to have Takashima assigned to the Shadowhawk.

Shakiri, a Minbari warrior, is in charge of the 14 Minbari fighters, their Minbari support crews, the ground attack craft, the Narn fighters, the Earthforce Marines and the Narn groundtroops, which total 10,000 soldiers, pilots and support crew. This allows Firehawk to land an impressive army on the ground with support craft under the command of one Mimbari.
